LMAO @ my mom!!!

So I took off the pic of me as a cop. (Halloween 2007) For one, it's embarrassing to have ANYTHING in common with Alain. And two, I just showed my mom the pic and she said "I remember that! You looked like a prostitute!!!" Thanks, mom!!! It was Halloween, sheesh! But that reminds me, I had a friend who worked for Mac. She did my makeup one time and my mom said then too, "You look like a prostitute!!!" Which wasn't good cuz although I didn't like the makeup job, I didn't want to hurt my friend's feelings and I went out to dinner like that. Then a waiter hit on me who didn't speak much English. Anyhoo, let this be a lesson to everyone - never let anyone do your makeup unless 1.) It's Halloween 2.) You're in a play 3.) You trust the person COMPLETELY!!! Otherwise, the results can be disastrous. My friend was in a wedding once and a Mary Kay representative offered to do the entire wedding party's makeup. My friend, who was the maid of honor, refused and was the only one who looked decent! I'm so doing my own makeup for my wedding. Which I'll post pics of, of course! How can I pass up an opportunity to show off how good I look with my husband, Ryan Lochte? Buhahaha. :p

In other news, my Emma is home!!! I'm very excited, I missed her bunches. And she's making a blog. Double yay!!

New obsession!

So I've been trying to keep myself occupied while my dear Emma is gone and I came across a cool site to play Pictionary online - http://www.isketch.net. It's really fun and a friend and I played on there last night. The only thing is...we suck. Bad, lol. I have a horrible mouse and it's impossible to draw with it. Not that I'd do much better any ways, the only thing I can really draw is clothing designs, which reminds me I still need to scan some and put them online. Anyhoo...I tried to play on the site again just now, but I could not find any English rooms! I was told I suck for not knowing Swedish. I told them off in Russian and then left, hehe. Oh and it seems the majority of the players there are pretty young. I had a bunch of 13 year old boys hitting on me last night, lmao!

Hello!! I signed up for this spiffy (Spiffy? Don't worry, I don't usually use that word lol!) little service because I wanted to stalk Joy's blog and see everything she was posting about Alain Bernard. For those of you who don't know who Alain is, boy are you missing out! *insert sarcasm here* He's the French swimmer who said that he and his teammates were going "smash the Americans" in the 4X100 Relay during the Olympics. The Americans won though, and Alain was left looking like an idiot. Since then, my friend Emma and I have found him quite amusing to talk about. We even put him in our fan fiction, As the Water Swirls. (Which you all should read, btw!) And of course, I laughed my booty off when I saw him at a tennis match, presenting the trophy to the tournament winner. He's everywhere!!! Which should make Joy happy, because she seems to be sliding over to the dark side and is slowly becoming his #1 fan. I read your blog, Joy, and saw what you wrote about him! Gorgeous!? Sexy accent!? Ok, so I've never actually heard him speak, but I can't imagine that anything about him would be sexy! And lmao people, I actually dared her to make a banner with his pics and she did! We love ya, Joy! Just not Alain.

Well, I think I'm going to hit "Publish Post" and officially make this my first blog entry. Thanks to Caroline for showing me this place! Hopefully she won't start liking Alain too. Don't do it Caroline, don't do it!!!
